RegularThe Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all food safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Greet customers entering the establishment, contributing to a positive guest experience by exceeding their expectations and preparing orders to their specifications.

* Maintain an orderly and clean check out area.

* Run the cash register; receiving payment by cash, check, or credit card and issuing receipts, refunds, or change as needed.

* Perform reconciliation of cash drawer, ensuring amounts are correct and that adequate change is available.

* Maintain adequate stocking of shelves, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day.

* Price products.

* Prepare and distribute sampling products to customers.

* Accurately and efficiently prepare orders to customer specifications.

* Cook and prepare food items per our standards of quality, consistency and timelines.

* Work in the deli making cheese trays, pizzas and bagging product.

* Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and organization standards.

* Operate equipment safely as determined by organization safety standards.

* Take shipping orders.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

* Learn how to prepare Fudge/Cheese Fudge.

* Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per food safety and company standards.

* Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

* Safety Protocol

* Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.

* Correct or report any observed safety hazards.

* Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Required:

* Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service, retail and/or food safe environment required.

Certification/Licensure Required:

* None

Skills Required:

* Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.

* Basic computer operational skills.

* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

* Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.

* Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
