J & H Oil Company is seeking a sales representative for the Lansing / Owosso area. This individual would also assist with managing wholesale operations in Owosso.

A J & H Oil Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for driving a portfolio of offerings within their designated territory. Working independently, they prospect, qualify, and close sales on a variety of items including fuel and fueling programs, lubricants, chemicals, and diesel exhaust fluid.

The ideal JHOC Commercial Sales candidate:

· Enjoys cold calling and is comfortable with conversing with people with a variety of skills and professional status

· Is assertive and continuously challenges themselves

· Takes ownership of their territory

· Is organized and persistent

· Has an ability to manage individuals and operations

Required Qualifications:

· Sales experience (required)

· Agriculture industry experience (preferred)

· Operations management experience (preferred)

· Dedication to exceptional customer service

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Team player

· Communication, sales presentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills to effectively work with a variety of individuals and departments

· Basic understanding of modern engines

· Proficiency with basic technology
