Recent graduates are requested to apply. We prefer inexperience, as we will do the training. Student courtroom/trial or mock trial experience makes a good foundation, and is a plus. We take your mentoring seriously. No minimum billable hourly scheme here. Our firm offers flexibility in your work schedule.

We are a well established, busy Glenwood Springs law firm and we have an opening for an INEXPERIENCED attorney associate to do mainly family law, some criminal defense law, and some small civil matters. We focus on defending fundamental liberties. We have been in that business for more than 20 years. Glenwood Springs is located on exit 116 on I-70, 45 miles from Aspen.

The position is mainly courtroom and trial work. It is "roll up your sleeves" law. You will assist and second chair, but will also have your own clients nearly right away. We fight hard, BTW, so be prepared to learn to do that. Trial or mock trial experience is a plus.

You will have experienced paralegal and interpreting support. About 20% of our clients speak Spanish.

Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

This law firm offers a great atmosphere and camaraderie. Everyone gets along wonderfully in this office. No uneasy or uncomfortable work environment. We don't permit that.
