The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting. Position Summary:
The Distribution Supply Planner is responsible for assured supply to the distribution centers and Restaurants. The Inventory Fulfillment Planner is responsible for collaborating with the supply chain planner on inbound product flow, monitoring inventory to assure supply, tracking inbound loads, and resolving critical issues related to supply shortages, late inbound loads, forecast issues, etc. The Distribution Supply Planner is also responsible for ensuring appropriate Distribution Center in-stock and restaurant fill rate levels while ensuring productive inventory turns at the most optimal cost to the business.  Responsible for collaborating with internal supply chain teams, freight companies, and distribution centers to ensure a seamless flow of inventory across the end-to-end supply chain.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Monitors and plans inventory levels for the distribution center. Ensures optimal inventory levels to meet metrics including customer fill rate, inventory turns, premium freight and order change rates
Identify and resolve stock issues to ensure the distribution center has optimal inventory levels, focusing on minimizing shortage or overstock occurrences through analysis of data, review of safety stock levels, and evaluating contingency options such as distribution center to distribution center transfers, line of supply changes, allocation to restaurants, etc.
Collaborate with both internal and external key partners for successful execution of promotions and new item launches
Coordinates and collaborates with supply chain partners to strategize inventory fulfillment in support of marketing initiatives
Collaborate with distribution centers to optimize costs by smoothing the inbound receipts across the week/month, working through capacity concerns, and avoiding costs such as spoilage due to ordering error
Track purchase orders from supplier to receipt at distribution center
Resolves product and transportation issues
Manage item phase out process to ensure distribution center depletes items according to phase out strategy in order to eliminate product liability
Work with distribution center to determine receiving parameters including maximum loads per day, closure days, etc. and ensure planning system is updated accordingly
Collaborates with supply chain planners and distribution centers to optimize the flow of inventory from purchase order placement to receipt at the distribution center
Analyzes and interprets multiple sources of data and reports to determine the best course of action or identify new opportunities to meet customer specific requirements.  Create ad hoc reporting when needed
Work on projects assigned to support existing customers, new business development, or process improvement
Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Purchasing, or Analytics OR a high school diploma with at least three years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Purchasing, or Analytics
Knowledge of the impact supply chain has on business (for example: impact lead time adherence, purchasing minimums, safety stock, etc. has on costs)
Knowledge of inventory management practices & definitions, such as safety stock, DOS, carrying cost, etc.
Strong collaboration and relationship building through cross functional alignment and delivery of initiatives
Ability to analyze and interpret multiple sources of date and reports to determine the best course of action
Critical thinking skills required to analyze data with ability to define root cause, and corrective action
Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools such as excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills required
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience working in a retail or restaurant supply chain
Experience with J.D. Edwards, JDA, and PowerBI
Supply Chain/Logistics Certification – CSCMP or APICS

PURPOSES OF DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We disclose Personal Information to our service providers and providers of the benefits we offer to our employees to enable them to provide services to us and to provide benefits to our employees and their beneficiaries. We also disclose Personal Information to third parties to perform background checks and at the request of our personnel and former personnel, for example to provide employment verification to third parties.

We may disclose personal information to third parties in connection with any proposed or actual reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of Reyes holdings’ business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Retention Periods

We will retain each category of your Personal Information for a period of time based on the following criteria:

The duration of your employment;
As long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, your dependents or beneficiaries of your employment benefits;
As required by a legal obligation to which we are subject;
As advisable in light of our business or legal position (such as in regard of applicable statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations).

Sources

We receive the personal information from you, or our employees for whom you are registered as an emergency contact or a beneficiary. We also receive information from our managers, references that you provide, prior employers or schools, customers, background check providers and publicly available sources. We may also obtain personal information about you through footage taken from security cameras at our facilities, including outdoors at entry gates, along building perimeters, and indoors in public areas as permitted by applicable law.

Rights and Requests

You may request that we disclose to you the following information covering the 12 months preceding your request:

The categories of Personal Information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such Personal Information;
The specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you in a transferable format;

We will verify and respond to your request consistent with applicable law, taking into account the type and sensitivity of the Personal Information subject to the request. If you maintain a password-protected account with us, we may verify your identity through our existing authentication practices for your account and require you to re-authenticate yourself before disclosing or deleting your Personal Information. You may make a request on behalf of a child who is under 13 years old if you are the child’s parent or legal guardian. If you make a Request to Delete, we may ask you to confirm your request before we delete your Personal Information.

If you are the authorized agent of an employee making a request for information, or a request to correct or delete Personal Information on behalf of the employee, we will ask you for:

proof of your registration with the California Secretary of State to conduct business in California.
proof that the employee has authorized you to make such a request on the consumer’s behalf. This must be a permission signed by the employee. “Signed” means that the permission has either been physically signed or provided electronically in accordance with the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, Civil Code 1633.7 et seq .

If an authorized agent has not provided us with a power of attorney from the individual pursuant to Probate Code sections 4021-4130, we may also:

require the employee to provide you with a written permission signed by the employee to make the request on the employee’s behalf
verify the identity of the employee as we would if the employee were making the request personally.
Obtain verification from the employee that they provided the authorized agent permission to make the request.
