Electrical Designer

Location: NE Portland, OR

Pay: $28/hr - $50/hr, DOE

Schedule: M-F | Full-time

An established MEP firm serving the Northwest architectural community for over 35 years. We do a wide variety of projects, allowing our staff to gain experience in many aspects of design. Our staff works on all aspects of project design, from initial concept through construction

administration.

What You’ll Do:

Design and specification for
power distribution systems,
lighting systems
grounding systems
communications systems.
Project engineering, project management, & marketing support.
Produce contract documents, plans, and specifications.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Scheduling and cost estimating.
Take jobs from start to finish and be responsible for those projects through construction with minimal supervision.
Coordination with clients
Develop relationships with clients

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
FE or PE registration a plus.
3 years experience in Electrical Design of power distribution systems
Consulting experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent organization and communication skills are a must.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, and Excel
Revit proficiency is a plus
Highly organized, detailed, and conscientious.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
